Without any shred of doubt, 2019 has been an eventful year for Infinix Mobile. From the launching of the Infinix Hot 8 to Infinix S4, and down to the latest Infinix S5; the buzz has been awesome for the brand. Just as the company has also followed some of the common trends we’ve seen this year; like the notch design, punch-hole design, and 32MP camera sensor wave, the brand has also confirmed that an android smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera and a lot of latest and notable upgrades will be launching in 2020.
Well, this started as rumours a few weeks ago, but the company CEO, Benjamin Jiang in a recent interview confirmed the report. According to Mr. Jiang, the Infinix Pop-up selfie camera smartphone will be unveiled in the Q1 of 2020 along with other surprises. That is, much like the Infinix S5, this is a phone designed to appeal to lots of folks with its innovative approach to design, not just enthusiasts looking for the camera-centric handset. “Q1 of 2020 will be the most surprising for the camera lovers and Infinix will be introducing Pop-Up selfie camera phones with mind-blowing tech innovations”.
Though, what the phone will be called or the key features were not released confirmed, but we can guess that the device may be an addition in the S5 series or it can be S6 line-up. With a pop-up camera, we can expect a larger bezel-less display boasting a bigger screen to body ratio, which we have not seen before in other Infinix devices.
The Infinix S series are Infinix’s mainstream handset that could help bring pop-up selfie camera packed with the latest tech. These phones will also target everyday users and many selfie lovers. Headed into the Infinix S5 Pro or Infinix S6 launch, Infinix is in a much stronger position than it was a year ago. It made waves in 2019, nabbing a tremendous response from the Nigerian market. Infinix’s S5 series in which S5 Lite and S5 4GB are among the hot-selling android smartphones due to its innovative feature of being the first punch-hole display phone with a 4GB Ram in a price bracket less than N45,000. So, there are a lot of solid features to expect from Infinix in the first quarter of 2020.
For now, we can’t say much about the phone, but in a couple of weeks, more information will be available. Just stay glued to this page.
