Heropanti 2 movie review takes you through the summary of the movie and what critics have to say about it.
With the current interest in South Indian cinema, Bollywood is taking a backseat. The reasons for the same become more prominent, especially with boring maar, dhaar, masala movies like Heropanti 2 that people of tired of watching.
While Tiger Shroff has made a cult of himself through movies like Heropanti and Baaghi, the audiences’ interests are shifting.
Let us find out why this movie has failed to impress the masses and what critics say!
Heropanti 2 cast
Here are the actors and their prominent roles in this movie:
- Tiger Shroff as Babloo
- Tara Sutaria as Inaaya
- Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Laila
- Amrita Singh, the mother of Babloo
- Zakir Hussain as Azaad Khan
- Vikas Verma as Ustad
- Raashul Tandon as Kiki
- Kriti Sanon, in a special appearance
The protagonist (Tiger Shroff) named Babloo Ranawat is a hacker who has been assigned to find Laila, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Laila has been running the biggest cybercrime globally, and the movie revolves around how Babloo will stop his actions. The leading lady of this film is Tara Sutaria, who plays the love interest of Babloo.
If you ask the people who watched the movie, they will tell you that it has a pretty lame plot. The entire film is like a slideshow of the character Babloo dancing, romancing, fighting, and jumping around to kill the villain group.
The first half of the movie has a lot of action scenes. One scene happens inside Inaaya’s hotel room, and antiques are damaged by gunshots. She tries to flee with Babloo and succeeds.
There is one more action scene where Babloo saves Inaaya after fighting with a group of armed men. He throws a few great kicks and punches and does unrealistic action scenes to fight the men behind the lady.
The second half of the film slows down and becomes a little boring. Here, we see the couple discuss heart-to-heart talk as Babloo talks about his past. Here, we also learn about Zakir Hussain and Amrita Singh’s roles. The movie slowly escalates to Babloo finding the cybercriminal to stop him from doing his deeds.
Heropanti 2 movie review
As usual, this movie also has a well-built protagonist who shows off some bone-cracking actions as a single-man army. The movie’s plot is quite predictable as he is on a mission to protect the world from cybercrimes.
Ahmed Khan directed the movie, and he already knew the best of what Tiger Shroff could deliver since the Baaghi series. Tiger Shroff, as you expect, has some of the best action scenes that keep his fans entertained.
While you cannot blame the actor for doing what he does best, movies like Heropanti require a better script. Rajat Arora scripted the movie, and it is high time that the B-town stops taking audiences for granted.
If you compare it to a movie like the recent KGF 2, it also has unrealistic scenes. However, the larger-than-life approach and gripping scenes make us emote differently. The script falls flat when you watch Heropanti 2 and doesn’t just justice to a hard-working actor like Shroff.
