Billing for about anything is quite a hassle. Every month, it’s the same routine, you get the bills, you go to the office, you pay the bills, and then repeat the next month. Online billing has luckily made it easier for everyone to pay the bill with just a tap on his or her phone. However, is that also the case for internet service providers? You’ll be surprised to know that it is! At least for some of them!

CenturyLink is one of those providers with multiple billing options, all for the ease of its subscribers. This makes for just one of the reasons why CenturyLink is revered as one of the top service providers in the U.S. Other than this, CenturyLink Internet is high-speed internet with the option of having a DSL or fiber connection. It is available to Americans in over 35 states and offers home phone services as well.

Coming back to the topic at hand, we mentioned before that CenturyLink has multiple options for billing. If you are a customer of CenturyLink, you are probably here to find out what those options are. However, if you are not yet a customer of CenturyLink, then you are either here because of your interest in switching from your old service to CenturyLink or you have somehow accidentally landed on this page. Whatever the reason, you will get the information so keep reading!

Pay Online

The most common and now standard way of payment is paying online. Sit at home, buy something and pay for it. It’s as simple as that and it’s also pretty secure, depending on the site. CenturyLink has further three more options for paying online: Quick Bill Pay, My CenturyLink portal, and card.

  • With Quick Bill Pay, you only need your account number and some basic information related to your account to make the payment. There is no need for you to log into your account.
  • Using the My CenturyLink portal, you can pay the bill and manage your account. You can also set up AutoPay, or sign up for paperless billing, and save your payment information for future payments as well.
  • With a card, you can pay the bill through debit or a major credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover), checking or savings account, and also with your ATM card. A Money Market account is also applicable here. Keep in mind that you will be charged $3.50 when you use a Debit or Credit card for payment.

Pay via the My CenturyLink app

If you are already a user of CenturyLink, you will know and probably already use the My CenturyLink app. If you don’t have it, you can download it from the app store, or play store, and set up your account. A few taps later, you have submitted your payment for the month! This app is not only designed for helping you with the payment but you can also manage your products and services. Update your account information and set up maintenance appointments or access tech support all through this app.

Pay by phone

You can pay your bill by way of a home phone using 2 methods: The automated process over the phone, or by asking a customer service representative to process the payment Call the number 1-800-244-1111 and have your account information like account number and payment information with you, just like when you call Spectrum customer support number for the same purpose. Pay via your debit, credit, savings, or current account. If you are not making the payment through the automated system, then you will be charged $3.50 via an agent.

Pay in-person

If you want to make the payment using cash, and in person, then you can do it at the nearest Western Union Location through one of their agents or you can also do it via CheckFreePay agents in their office. You can make the payment at their branches by card or by cash.

Pay via mail

A rare option that may not be used by many, however, it is still an option. If you prefer sending your payment via mail, then you can do that too. Just write your account number on the check or money order and the correct mailing address on the envelope. You can also get a pre-addressed envelope from CenturyLink and send it in that. As for where you can get the address from, check the address on your paper bill and use that. Depending on your residence, the address varies so don’t search and add one from the internet.

For the payment to be processed quickly, add the remittance slip with the paper bill. This payment method, unlike others, takes time to reach the designated address, so if you are using this method, it’s better to do it early on so you are not late.
