    Huawei has announced a new budget-friendly android smartphone dubbed Huawei Y6s which features Helio P35 SoC and EMUI 9.1. The new device has been featured on the company’s official website and comes with licensed Google apps and services out of the box.
    According to what we have seen, Huawei Y6s comes with almost the same features as the Y6 Pro (2019). The only noticeable difference is on the upgraded SoC and bigger internal storage capacity.

    Specs-wise, Huawei Y6s sports a 6.09-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels, offering a screen density of 283 PPI. This latest android smartphone is powered by an octa-core Helio P35 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and an option between 32GB/64GB onboard storage to choose from.

    In terms of camera, Huawei Y6s sports a single 13MP (f/1.8 aperture) primary shooter on its rear panel, with an 8MP (f/2.0 aperture) front-facing selfie camera. The phone is supported by a 3,020mAh non-removable battery and runs on the EMUI 9.1 (based on Android 9.1).

    The Huawei Y6s price is US$137 for the 3GB+64GB model and is already available for purchase in the Philippines. The device is expected to go on sale in other Asian markets soon. It will be offered in two color options namely Orchid Blue and Starry Black.
