Infinix Mobile is launching the lower version of the Infinix Hot S5 that was released in India a few weeks ago. According to what we gathered, the upcoming Android smartphone will launch any time from November and will be known as Hot S5 Lite.
The Infinix Hot S5 Lite will feature a 6.6 inch Super Cinema HD+ with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. There is also a punch hole at the top of the display housing the selfie shooter. Unlike the standard S5, this newest version is targeted at the budget users. Considering the price, the phone will come with some lower features to compare with the standard version.
In terms of camera, Infinix Hot S5 Lite will a host dual rear camera setup which includes a 13MP main sensor and 2MP depth sensor, unlike the higher version with quad-camera sensors. At the front, Infinix armed the phone with an 8MP selfie camera.
As far as the memory and storage are concerned, the new Hot s5 Lite features a lesser storage capacity than the standard S5 (64GB internal storage). The phone sports 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The phone retains the 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek’s Helio P22 Cortex-A53 with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. You can also expand the internal storage with microSD card upto 128GB if you think the internal storage capacity will not be enough.
As for the battery, the phone is powered by a 4000mAh battery. Infinix Hot S5 Lite will run on Android 9 Pie based on XOS 5.0 Cheetah OS and will have all the standard connectivity options like VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, a MicroUSB port, and the rest.
