A new Nokia Android smartphone called Nokia 6.2 is about to hit the market with a pretty large HD+ display, a sharp 48MP camera, and some other interesting features. The upcoming Nokia device is also called Nokia 6 2019, or Daredevil and is expected to launch in August. The Nokia 6.5 smartphone has been on the news for a while now and many Nokia users have been anticipating the official launch. Some reports believe that the upcoming smartphone is a rebranded version of Nokia X71. But, for clarity sake, the company took to social to say that the Nokia 6.2 is a whole new Android smartphone.

From what we have seen and gathered so far about the upcoming mid-range smartphone, it comes in a well-crafted and beautiful design. The device has been spotted without a notch; rather it comes with a punch hole that houses the front camera.

The new Nokia device flaunts a massive 6.39 inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2316 pixels and 400 PPI as the density rate. The display is good with an immersive vision.

Nokia 6.2 Camera and Battery

The budget Android smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup at the back panel containing a massive 48MP main shooter, a 5MP wide-angle camera, and an 8MP depth camera. The cameras are capable of capturing impressive pictures even in a low light environment. More rugged than what we have on latest Tecno Phantom 9. The company armed the front with a 16MP camera for great selfie shots.

For power, the phone is loaded with a decent 3,500mAh battery capacity which comes with an 18W fast charging technology.

Nokia 6.2 Hardware and Software

In terms of hardware, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 MSM8976 Plus processor along with the 4GB/6GB RAM to ensure fast and lag-free performance. The Qualcomm Adreno 512 GPU is there to handle the graphics. There is also a 64GB/128GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD card to store your files and media contents.

The phone will runs on Android 9 (Pie) with sensors like Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Ambient Light, Fingerprint sensor, many others.

Nokia 6.2 Price and Availability

The expected base price in India is INR 18,999 which is equivalent to $276 in USD. Also, the price in Nigeria is expected to start from N99,000 to as high as N110,000.

The Nokia 6.2, according to reports is expected to launch in August and may be available in Black and Gold color variants. The phone is also expected to come in 4GB and 6GB RAM models.
