You know, when I first heard that Nokia had launched a new phone called Nokia C1, I thought it was just a new design of the old C1 Symbian phone we know. Just like the brand modernized the old Nokia 3310 java phone two years ago, my thinking was that they have re-introduced the Nokia C1 Symbian phone in the market with a new sleek and fancy design. Nokia C1 was launched in December 2019 to succeed the old Nokia C1-01; not as a Symbian phone this time but as an android smartphone. The new Nokia budget smartphone comes with a bigger display, a manageable battery capacity, and runs on Android 9 (Pie).
With this new smartphone, those that cannot afford Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2, or even Nokia 2.3 can comfortably go for it at a very cheap price in Nigeria. But before you do that, check out features and full specifications of the device.
Design and Display
The Nokia C1 comes with a plastic body build with just two colour options of Black and Red to choose from.
In terms of display, Nokia C1 boasts of a 5.45-inch display with big bezels. The display features screen resolution of 480 x 960 and a screen density of 197 ppi.
Camera and Battery
For optics, the budget smartphone features a single 5MP back camera with an aperture of f/2.4. The rear camera can take good quality photographs, but don’t expect them to be as clean and sharp as the ones taken with Tecno Spark 4. With the C1 camera, you can take pictures in HDR, and the video recording is pegged at 720p at 30fps.
For selfies, Nokia C1 sports a single 5MP front-facing camera with an LED flash. The front-facing camera video recording is maxed at 720p at 30fps.
