Perhaps the biggest advantage of One Plus is that they only focus on producing flagship units, and that has certainly paid off. In the past recent years, a large number of people do prefer One Plus over the tech giants like Samsung and Apple. The hype is firing in all cylinders as people are rushing to the stores to get themselves a true performance delight.
But isn’t it ironic that One Plus has introduced the successor with the predecessor all at once? It might be, who knows about what the company is thinking and planning to do. Let them be themselves, and we start focusing on the beasts for now.

One Plus 7: The Performance Champ!

Design
One Plus has been not that experimental with their design as the phone factor has always been of a premium grade. The frame is made out of premium quality aluminum, and both the front and the back is of glass. The Glass front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6, and the back is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The phone weighs around 182 grams, which is about the weight of an average flagship phone.
The dimensions are 6.21 inches of length, 2.94 of width, and the breadth is 0.32 inches—moderately thin and sturdy looking phone, capable of catching some eyeballs for sure. The finish is very smooth, as it is expected from One Plus. The buttons are very well placed on the left. We have the volume adjustment button, the all-time unique alert slider, and the power button on the right. The hybrid SIM slot has been placed just above the volume rocker.
As far as the design is concerned, it is very similar to the One Plus 6T. And I must tell you the phone is very sleek and handy to use.
Display
One Plus has surprised the fans and tech enthusiasts with awesome displays in their smartphones. Plus, seven has not been an exception. This display is an Optic AMOLED capacitive display with a color count of 16M. This 6.41 inches display is full High Definition and has a resolution of 1080 into 2340 pixels. The aspect ratio us 19:5:9, and the PPI density is almost 402.
This display is very bright, and you will have no complaints about it whatsoever. The colors are very bright. The notch is just perfect and cute. After all, we are witnessing a flagship product, guys! Everything should be awesome.
Performance
What can I say about performance? We are reviewing a flagship phone, so it is pretty obvious that the phone will be offering the top-notch hardware and software experience. But still, let us complete the formalities.
Hardware
When we start talking about the hardware of a particular smartphone, the first thing that catches the eye is the processing power and the chipset. One Plus 7 has the top of the line chipset currently offered by Qualcomm, which is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. This 7-nanometer chipset is the best in the class and does fire in all cylinders during heavy multitasking and gaming. The Octa-Core processor runs in 8 cores, dedicated to different tasks at different clock speeds. The first Core is of 2.84 GHz, the nest three cores are 2.42 GHz, and the last 4 are 1.78 GHz Kryo 485.
The RAM and the internal storage comes in two variants; 6 GB and 8 GB; 128 GB and 256 GB. The GPU which is used in this smartphone is Adreno 640.
Software
This smartphone rums in the latest version of Android, which is Android 9.0 (PIE) and is upgradable to Android 10. The signature Oxygen Operating System is used in this product prior to the fact that it is used in all the One Plus phones. The version of Oxygen OS is 10.0.5.
Camera
This smartphone does some wonders when it comes to the camera units. This is certainly a flagship unit when we experience the photo and video samples that are taken and shot by the phone.
The rear camera is a Dual Camera Setup with a 0.8 micrometer 48 Mega Pixels wide-angle camera with an aperture count of f/1.7. The PDAF and OIS sensors are included. The secondary camera is a depth sensor of 5 Mega Pixels with an aperture of f/2.4.
Dual LED flash, HDR, and Panorama have been some of the additional features of the rear camera. Videography can be done in 4k with a frame rate of 30 or 60 frames per second. Full HD videos can be shot in higher frame rates of 30, 60, or 240 fps. Auto HDR and gyro-EIS enables you to shoot with image stabilization.
The front-facing camera, AKA, the Selfie Camera, is off 1.0 micrometer 16 Mega Pixels counting an aperture of f/2.0. Features like Auto-HDR and Gyro-EIS, while recording videos in 1080p at a frame rate of 30 frames per second is the key features of the camera.
Battery
The One Plus 7 comes with a Non-Removable Lithium Polymer 3700 mAh Battery. It will give you a full day battery life altogether.
Sensors and Other Features

One Plus 7 and One Plus 7 Pro was launched on the same date. The irony is that, despite being from the same mother. They started clashing in the market, and people went bananas on which one to buy and which one to skip.
We are not gonna end the debate. Even we don’t have that power to convince people either. But what we can do is that we can surely take a closer look at One Plus 7 Pro.
Design
The design is upscale from its brother, The One Plus 7. The finishing gives us a little bit more premium feel in the hands. The phone is a bit taller, a slight elevation to be specific. The display is matchless and bezel-less. The curved display on the side edges is giving the no bezel experience. The dimension has elevated a bit and now measuring at 6.40 inches in length, 2.99 in width, and 0.35 inches in breadth.
The phone is available in Mirror Grey, Almond, and a new featuring color of Nebula Blue. This Guardian of the Galaxy character has been a popular one, of course. But it is not the inspiration for this color variant. I personally prefer the Nebula blue because of it having a Mate-ish finish, and it soaks lesser fingerprints than the other models and One Plus 7’s.
Display
The display of this phone is upgraded to the next level. Going notch-less has been a great leap for One plus, and the 6.67 inches Fluid AMOLED capacitive display has been the talk of the town. The resolution is 1400 into 3120 pixels, and the aspect ratio is 19:5:9. The PPI count is 516.
It is HDR10+ and the most relentless and exciting fact about this display that makes the One Plus 7 Pro stand out is90 Hz refresh rate. So when you are scrolling something real fast, you will be witnessing buttery transitions, and the experience is a real gem. People will certainly love this display, and the display is one of the best screens in the year 2019.

The front camera is a motorized Pop-Up Camera of 25 millimeters wide 16 Mega Pixels, and aperture count is f/2.0.
