Dim the lights of your room, play some Fur Elise, or some romantic Mozart numbers in the background because things are gonna get a bit hot right now. At first, let us unbox this beauty. The one which we have right now with us is the Luminous Black version of the phone. And Oh, Boy! Isn’t it a beauty! Considering The Oppo Reno 2Z price, this is some design!
This smartphone is indeed an art as far as the design is concerned. I love the fact that the camera module is embalmed inside the glass back. It makes it sleeker than usual. And the finish is very smooth. I love the cool little plays that the phone does when the light source changes. It is indeed, a masterpiece.
The Backside contains the Reno branding as the predecessor had. All the cameras are embalmed, as I have said earlier. The first question will come in your mind about the little green ball right above the camera unit. What exactly is it for? To clear the doubts for you, it is actually a ceramic ball. It elevates the phone a bit when it is kept on a flatter surface so that the camera module does not get any scratches. Cool and innovative thinking, right?
The phone itself is very comfortable to hold. It has a dimension of 6.39 inches in length, 2.98 inches in width, and 0.34 inches in the breadth. So pretty standard-sized phone, super comfortable as far as the grip is concerned. However, the weight is almost 195 grams. Yes, it is a bit on the heavier side, I admit.

The frame is made of high-quality aluminum, and both the front and the back is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Altogether, this phone has made a huge impression as a good looking smartphone.

Oppo Reno Series has brilliant screens altogether, and they have not failed to amuse the fans every single time. Phones like these have to come in AMOLED display. This has become an unwritten rule nowadays.
The display is an AMOLED display, just as I have mentioned earlier. This is a full high definition display with a resolution of 1080 pixels into 2340 pixels. The PPI count is equivalent to 395. As there is a rising camera, so the display does not have a notch or bezels in hectic forms. So we will be enjoying a full-screen experience altogether as the screen to body ratio is close to 85%.
The colors and the refresh rate is very crisp and fast. The User Interface works awesome and does compliment the AMOLED display really well. This display works really well indoors and outdoors in broad daylight. So you will be enjoying this screen very much.

Right after reading the headline of this segment, people will start to scratch their heads and think why Mediatek? Mediatek generally produces low-end processors and chipsets for low-end phones. But we constantly forget that this is a processor company that ALSO makes high-end processors like Intel makes dual-core processors and Core i9 at the same time.
In this particular phone, Mediatek has given one of their powerful processors, The Mediatek MT6733 Helio P90. This 12 nm chipset runs in 8 cores. It is somewhat comparable to the Snapdragon 710 processors.
The clock speed, however, is almost 2.2 GHz in this processor. So there is decent power under the hood to maximize the speed of the smartphone. The GPU is PowerVR GM9446.
This phone comes with an 8 GB RAM and two variants of storage; 128 GB and 256 GB. So, I don’t think that you would need external storage support unless you store all your data inside the phone.
Software
This phone runs with the latest version of Android 9.0 PIE and is upgradable up to Android Version 10. The Operating system is ColorOS version 7.0. The software is very much stock Android experience, and people will love it as the apps are fully loaded and well decorated.
