Realme X Pro Specs

Realme X Pro is pushing it hard to dethrone Xiaomi from the Chinese smartphone manufacturing king. Not only they are launching some new phones over the recent years, but they are also excelling in almost every section. They are in a mission, a mission to capture the market.

And what better market can it be other than the Indian Sub-continent. Where consumers in the west are more into high-end phones with an Apple logo or a Samsung, people here in the sub is more into budget phones that can well live up to their expectations. That is why, instead of targeting the big west, companies like Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme are trying their fortune here in India.

Introduction

Speaking of fortune, Realme is on its verge of making it big this time. Though people will have a different opinion, I think that Realme has all the aura to overtake the budget king, Xiaomi.

Today, we will be focusing on an upcoming phone of Real me. Yes, we are going to talk about the upcoming Realme X Pro. Previously, Realme X made a huge impact in the market with its stunning look and specs. The Realme X was the best of Realme back then. But this time they are pushing a bit further and making what is seems to be a cracker.

To give you a little sneak peek, I will be mentioning one single number. And that is 855. I am pretty sure that phone enthusiasts have come up to the edge of their seats after reading this. For those who still did not get the hint, this article is for the. So, stick right here to know more about the upcoming Realme X Pro. So, without wasting any more words, let us dig into the first segment, which is the design of the upcoming Realme X Pro.

As we have experienced earlier, Realme has been very colorful in terms of their phones. They have been very generous in trying out new design patterns and gradient inlays. But the big question is, did they come out, right? Surprisingly, Yes!

People loved the out of the box designs and color combinations. This time I am pretty sure that there will be no exception. The Realme X Pro is probably going to be the top of the line phone for quite a while, so this phone has to look good.

It is pretty hard to say about it this early because we did not have any sort of the first-hand experience. But viable leaks indicate that the phone is going to have a motorized pop-up selfie camera module this time.

Top of the line

As the phone is going to be the top of the line, so it is very obvious that it will have a metal and glass finish. High-grade Aluminum framing combined with the glass front and back is the go-to setup for top liners like this. As the company has released so far, there will be good protection on the front and the back. I am expecting Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This version of Gorilla Glass is made for the top-end phones.

Now, speaking of other attributes, this phone will have an in-display fingerprint, the screen will be IPS LCD instead of AMOLED. This might be upsetting for some of the fans of Realme, but the screen will be decent, in my opinion. Moving on, the buttons will be as per usual, but there is still a debate of having a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Let us make a headcount, leave a comment below why you think 3.5 mm headphone jacks are not important. Please do explain your opinion.

Overall, this phone will have a decent design and will give a complex to its competitors. The dimensions and the weight balance is still unknown as we don’t have any sort of hands-on experience. But the main concerns are the upcoming segment, which is the Display of the Realme X Pro.

Display of the Realme X Pro

When smartphone brands are opting to choose the AMOLED panels for their screens, Realme chose to pick up the fallen king of the display world, the IPS LCD. Some of you might scratch their heads on the decision, but let me break it down for you.

If you ask me, why should a manufacturer like Realme X Pro pick something which is backdated? I tell you why. First of all, this tech is not backdated, and it is still rocking the market. Then, if an IPS LCD panel costs around 20 bucks, and AMOLED will cost you almost 60 bucks. So, that is why Realme went on to choose an IPS LCD for their upcoming phone.

Motive of Realme

The main motive of companies like Realme is to ensure the best performance in an affordable price range so that people can have the taste of the speed and luxury well suited to their pockets. So, if IPS are well beyond decent, then why waste time and money to buy an AMOLED?

Moving on to the specs of the display. The display of the upcoming Realme X pro will be 6.5 inches. It will be a full High Definition panel. So, the resolution count will be 1080 into 2340 pixels. The display will be protected with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5. So, the display will be scratch-proof and dust resistant at the same time. As far as the reports form Realme is concerned, this display will be bright and will give a decent experience in the bright light conditions. The PPI count is around 396 PPI.

So, that was all the info we know so far about the display of the Realme X Pro. Now, let us move on to the most anticipated section of the discussion today. Yes, I am talking about the Performance of the Upcoming Realme X Pro.

Performance of the Realme X Pro

855 is the number that has attracted a lot of buzz near the dish. For those who don’t know what I am talking about deserves the wrath of Ragnarok! Just kidding! I am talking about the chipset which is used in this phone. It is the top of the light chipset of Qualcomm, clearly flagship-grade. Yes, I am talking about the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. This is a flagship chipset. So, you can see why this is called a flagship chipset.

Realme X Pro specs chipset is clocked around 2.84 GHz for the first single Core of Kryo 485. As it has an Octa-Core processor, the remaining three cores of Kryo 485 is clocked at 2.42 GHz. The rest of the four Kryo 485 cores comes with a typical performance-boosting clock speed of 1.8 GHz. The Graphics processing unit plays a vital role in rendering the graphics according to the requirements. This time they will be going for the Adreno 640. Adreno 640 is the best combination alongside the Snapdragon 855. So, that means this phone is going to be very smooth.

The RAM is going to be 6 GB, which is understandable. But we still don’t have any news or leaks from trusted sources about the internal storage. As we came to know that this phone is going to ditch the Dedicated Micro SD Card slot, so it is quite predictable to have a 128 GB or 256 GB variant. But I don’t think 512 GB will be available on this phone whatsoever.

The software will be the latest Android Version 10. Realme’s signature OS will be a huge compliment for the phone as the phone will have decent hardware to back things up. The Android ten added features are a real plus point if someone asks me.

Overall the phone will come with a huge expectation in the performance sector, but the main things which we will have to consider are the fact of heating and apps management. Having a great hardware unit does not mean that you will have great performance—the performance of the phone lines in the collaboration between the software crib and the hardware den. So, the expectation is pretty high, no doubt, but from experience, I have faith in Realme. I think they are going to pull this off just fine.

Now let us talk about perhaps the biggest deciding factor of the phone nowadays. So, it is the Camera Unit of the upcoming Realme X Pro.

The camera of the Realme X Pro

The main cameras are going to be a quad-camera setup, as we are assured so far. The main camera unit loos promising to be honest. The primary sensor will be 64 Mega Pixels sensors equipped with a PDAF sensor. So, the second camera will be a wide-angle camera. It will be of 8 Mega Pixels. The third one will be a Macro Lens, capable of shooting photos of objects which can be miniature. The last camera will be a depth sensor. Some of us don’t even count the depth sensor as a camera.
Nevertheless, it is of 2 Mega Pixels. Moreover, the selfie camera will be a motorized pop-up module. The selfie camera is of 25 Mega Pixels.

The camera unit of Realme X Pro looks promising as it will be loaded with exposure compensation, ISO Control, Continuous shooting, High Dynamic Range Mode, which is commonly known as HDR. So, the cameras will have a digital zoom, Autoflash, face detection, and touch to focus feature.

Overall, the cameras will be dope and will be giving some amazing photos. But we will be able to be more specific one we get our hands on the review unit. Water Resistance

The thing is that phone whi9ch promises to stay well within the budget has to make some sacrifices. Water resistivity is one of them. To make a phone water-resistant, it is to keep in mind that it will cost the manufactures in a significant margin. So, to cut that unwanted cash leak, phones have to skip the water-resistance part. Realme X Pro will be a 25,000 INR range phone so that it will be sipping the water resistance for sure.
