A few months after the launch of Samsung’s first foldable Android smartphone called Galaxy Fold, Samsung W20 5G enable foldable smartphone has been released. The phone was officially launched on the 19th of November 2019 with dual display and Snapdragon 855+ chipset powering the device.
Specs-wise, this latest and the second Foldable Android smartphone from Samsung feature a 7.30-inch main display with a screen resolution of 1536 x 2152 pixels at a pixel density of 326 ppi. There’s also a secondary display measuring 4.60-inch, with a resolution of 720 x 1680 pixels at a pixel density of 399 ppi.
When compared to the Galaxy Fold, Samsung W20 5G is just here correct most of the quality control issues that came with the Fold, which led to recalling the devices. I terms of design, W20 5G looks more durable in a metal body with a thicker and stronger middle frame, which comes in a white finish.
For optics, W20 5G sports triple rear camera which includes a 16MP main camera with f/f2.2 aperture and a 1.0-micron pixel, a second 12MP camera with an f/f1.5/f2.4 aperture and a 1.4-micron pixel, and the third 12MP shooter with an f/f2.4 aperture and a 1.0-micron pixel. To ensure steady camera shots, the camera setup has autofocus. At the front, there is a dual-camera setup which contains a 10MP and 8MP for impressive selfies.
Samsung W20 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset with 12GB of RAM and a 512GB of internal storage capacity. The W20 5G runs One UI based on Android 9 Pie and 4235mAh battery. The battery supports 2.0 fast charge, wireless charge, and as well as reverse charge technology.
Other features include, dual-SIM support, 5G network, face unlock, fingerprint sensor, etc.

The Samsung W20 price in India is at Rs. 173,000, which is about $2,422 (N873,600 in Nigeria). As of today, the smartphone has been released in Indian.
