For those that have seen the pictures or reviews on the trending Vivo V15, you’ll agree with me that the latest Vivo S1 has a similar design and look with the V15. The major difference between the two Android smartphones is the lower pop-up selfie camera resolution and bigger internal storage.  The smartphone looks sleek and trendy, with two color variants (Ice lake Blue and Pet Pink) to choose from.

In terms of display, Vivo S1 rocks a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display which offers a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.  The Android smartphone also features a 90.95% screen-to-body with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

    Camera and Battery

Good cameras have been one of the major selling points of Vivo smartphones. Vivo S1, as a budget Android smartphone rocks triple camera setup on the rear, which contains a 12-megapixel primary sensor that has an f/1.78 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2, and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens for good photographs. On the front, this smartphone is armed with a 24.8-megapixel selfie camera.

When it comes to the battery capacity, Vivo S1 is powered by a 3900mAh battery that can last up a day of fair usage. The battery also hosts a dual-engine fast charging technology.

    Configuration and Storage

The Vivo S1 runs Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0(Pie). The smartphone also comes with a Game Turbo mode that offers a good gaming experience. Onboard the phone is the MediaTek Helio P70 SoC.

In terms of storage, this device comes with a 6GB of RAM, along with 128GB of onboard storage for storing your files. The phone has ample storage capacity that will go a long way even with external storage. The RAM is also good and provides fast processing and multitasking. In case of additional storage, the phone storage can be extended via MicroSD card up to 256GB.

    Price and Availability

The Vivo S1 sports 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. This happens to be the only configuration available and can be purchased at a price of CNY 2,298 (about €305).
