In a recent report by Germany’s top research institute, GfK, Vivo has been named the fastest growing brand in January 2019.
According to data from GfK, Vivo recorded 60.9% growth in terms of volume of smartphones shipped and 63. (dth.com) 2% growth in terms of revenue generated in January 2019. This is as against the 14.2% and 16.8% in terms of volumes and revenue recorded in January 2018 respectively.
Furthermore, The Vivo’s Y-series(less than 20k segment) was the market booster and the backbone of the growth Vivo recorded last year, while the V-series (20k segment) skyrocketed the segment above the previous growth.
The Director of Brand Strategy for India said that the latest Vivo V15 Pro has become the fastest-selling Android smartphone in the V-series.
