Vivo X30 with Exynos 980 SoC to feature 5G integrated modem

The Chinese phone maker, Vivo may likely announce its latest Android smartphone called Vivo X30 tomorrow (7th November) in a joint 5G event with Samsung. The event, according to reports will be called the “Vivo X Samsung 5G AI chip press conference” and it will be taking place in Beijing.

Earlier last week, Samsung unveiled the Exynos 980 chipset with a 5G integrated modem which happens to be the first of its kind in the world. With this latest collaboration between Vivo and Samsung, chances are that Vivo may seize the opportunity to launch the Vivo X30; and rumors reveal that the smartphone will be powered by the Exynos 980 SoC.

The Exynos 980 is built with two Cortel-A77 cores in the CPU, along with six Cortex –A55 units and Mali-G76 MP5 GPU. The latest chipset is built by Samsung and has a 5G integrated Modem that comes with a simplified motherboard, and offers more power-efficient. The good news is that, if Vivo X30 should come with this chip, it will be of great advantage and it will give the brand an edge over its competitors.

The upcoming device is expected to arrive with a notchless display and three cameras at the left corner side of the back panel. The expected price is not yet confirmed and the availability in the market may likely be in December. (https://whitejasmine.com)
