At a joint event with Samsung on Thursday in Beijing, Vivo announced that Vivo X30 is going to be officially launched in December this year. Recall that we had earlier reported about this event and even predicted that the android smartphone will be announced there. Well, it was. This review features the full specifications as revealed by the company and the expected price when it finally gets to Nigeria.
According to the company, Vivo X30 will be featuring a new chipset to support the dual-SIM 5G feature and Wi-Fi 6 on the device. At the event, Vivo and Samsung disclosed that this new chipset is going to be 20 percent better in terms of performance, compared to what is available on their current devices in the markets.

Vivo X30 will be coming with a 6.50-inch AMOLED display. A little bit bigger than what is available on Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 which are already making headlines due to their above-the-average specs. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 396 PPI pixel density. Protecting the front and back of Vivo X30, is Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Camera and Battery
Just like the latest Vivo Y17 Pro, Vivo X30 will feature a quad-camera setup at the rear. The major difference between them at the camera department is the bigger sizes of sensors available on X30. The device will be sporting a 64 MP primary sensor at the rear, supported by a 13 MP secondary sensor, an 8 MP tertiary sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. At the front, the smartphone features a 32 MP camera with artificial intelligence (AI) beautification. The size of this selfie camera is yet to be officially confirmed by the company though.
As for the battery capacity, Vivo X30 will be powered by a 4500mAh non-removable battery with 30W Flash Charge support. The phone will also come with 4G and 5G networks for fast internet browsing.

Software and Hardware
On the operating system, Vivo X30 will be running on Android 9.0 Pie and powered by Exynos 980 SoC. According to the Samsung statement at the event, this chipset can comfortably power up to 108 MP camera even if there are up to 5 sensors making up to that size. For graphics, the Mali-G76 MP5 is up to the task.
As for the memory, the device will be coming with an 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. According to the information we have from very reliable sources, there will be a variant of this device coming up in January 2020. The variant Vivo X30 Pro will feature a bigger memory (8 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM) at a slightly higher price.
Vivo X30 Price in Nigeria and Availability
Vivo X30 price in Nigeria ranges from N166,000 to N166,500 while the variant Vivo X30 Pro price starts from N180,000.
