–What inspired you to pursue urology?

I’ve always been interest in the human body and how it works. And I’ve always been good at science and math. When I was shadowing different doctors during my undergrad. I found that I really like urology because it combine both surgical and medical aspects. It was the perfect fit for me!

–What is your favorite thing about being a urologist?

I love being able to help people with their urinary and reproductive problems.

 What is a CTVT Surgery?

A CTVT surgery is a minimally invasive procedure use to treat canine transmissible venereal tumors (CTVTs). This type of tumor is typically found in the genital area of dogs and is spread through sexual contact. The surgery involves removing the tumor and any surrounding tissue that may be affect. This type of surgery is typically very successful in treating CTVTs and allowing dogs to return to a normal, healthy life.
