It is no longer news that the latest iPhone 11 series has been launched with some cool features. In this latest series, we have the standard iPhone 11, which we have reviewed earlier ( You can check up on the review); we also have the iPhone 11 Pro, and the highest version which is the iPhone 11 Pro Max. All these smartphones come with their own key selling points that make them unique from each other with their prices in Nigeria being more affordable than the previous series.
Today’s post is about the iPhone 11 Pro which looks more compact than the standard iPhone 11 with more improved features. The phone rocks a small 5.8 inches display with better cameras than the iPhone 11. The battery capacity is relatively smaller and features a bigger storage capacity. Let’s review the full specifications of this model.
Design and Display
Like I said earlier, iPhone 11 Pro is very compact with a beautiful design that appeals. At the top left corner of the back panel, there are three camera lenses that are beautifully arranged. In case the phone mistakenly fails into a bucket filled with water, the device can withstand being submerged in up to 4 meters for up to 30 minutes. Although, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 are not the same price range, but the Pro version is better equipped to resist water longer than the standard version. Also, you have the Midnight Green, Space Gray, Gold, and Silver color options available to choose from.
In terms of display, iPhone 11 Pro is equipped with a 5.8-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display that sports two new record levels of brightness and knows when to use them. The display is perfect for shooting and making selects when you are out in a sunny environment and records up to 800 nits. Even when you are viewing extreme shooting dynamic contents, the Super Retina XDR display records up to 1200 nits. In fact, iPhone 11 Pro, as it stands now has the sharpest and brightest screen- even more advanced than Samsung Note 10. The device comes with 2436 x 1125 resolution pixels at 458 ppi.
Camera and Battery
iPhone 11 Pro hosts triple rear camera lenses which include a 12MP ultra-wide, 12MP wide, and 12MP telephone cameras that deliver clean and nice shots, even at the night. The Ultra Wide has f/2.4 aperture and 120° field of view, while the wide and telephoto lenses rock f/1.8 and f/2.0 aperture respectively. Other features include 2x optical zoom in, 2x optical zoom out; digital zoom up to 10x, portrait mode with advanced bokeh and Depth Control, plus a host of other features. At the front, we also have a 12MP sharpshooter that delivers cool selfie shots.
In terms of battery, iPhone 11 Pro has lower battery capacity than the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. But notwithstanding, it can last up to 4 hours longer than the previous iPhone XS. With the battery, you get up to 18 hours of video playback, more than 65 hours of audio playback, with 18W fast charging technology. The phone also supports wireless charge.
Hardware and Software
iPhone 11 Pro is equipped with the latest Apple’s iOS 13 operating system. The performance the device is superb, which is why it is tagged the ‘fastest smartphone in the market’. For gamers, the A13 chipset gives an impressive graphics experience- running at a native resolution at 60 frames per second. The speed is second to none, and the overall fluidity of the game is incredible. Storage –wise, iPhone 11 Pro comes in three storage configurations, which includes 6GB, 256GB, and 512GB and can’t be expanded.
