Today, we are going to compare another two solid Android smartphones: Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro and Tecno Camon 11 Pro. These two smartphones come with amazing and awesome specs with beautiful sleek designs.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro is a mid-range device and a flagship device for the company. The device was recently released this month (March) and it gives a lot for less.
If you’re a mobile phone enthusiast, you must be familiar with the Tecno Camon Series introduced years back. We’ve already seen how a lot was put in there and still sold for a lot less.
The Tecno Camon 11 Pro does not disappoint but let’s see how it stacks up against the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro.
The Xiaomi Redmi 7 Pro comes with a screen size of 6.3 inches, 97.4 cm square with a resolution of 1080*2340 pixels.
On the other hand, Camon 11 Pro has a screen size of 6.2 inches, 96.7 cm square with a resolution of 720*1500 pixels.
In addition, the Xiaomi device screen is protected by Corning Glass 5 while Camon has a NEG protection.
From the specs, the Xiaomi Redmi 7 Pro has a slightly larger display but such a difference is not really significant considering how close they are.
Looking at the Redmi Note 7 Pro Android smartphone, there is nothing different from what we’ve seen from other smartphones so far.
The quality of the design is undoubtedly good. The body is protected with the Corning Glass 5 which will offer a shield in the case of a fall.
Just like the trend in other decent devices, the bezel here is really small.
On the rear is the fingerprint scanner. Every other feature is where you should expect them to be. The selfie camera, the power and volume button at the right side while the SIM card tray is at the left.
Now to the Camon 11 Pro, it really looks like the Camon 11 considering the design. Nothing really different from a typical smartphone we are familiar with. The SIM card tray is located at the left, the power and volume button at the right. Then close to the bottom are the speaker grill and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Both devices are quite similar to their design.
The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has equipped with a Qualcomm SDM600 Snapdragon 660 chipset, Octa-core (4*2.2 GHz Kryo 260 and 2*1.8 GHz Kryo 260 and Adreno 512 GPU.
Camon 11 Pro is packed with a MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22 (12nm) chipset, Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex – A53 CPU and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
The former is run by Android 9.0 (Pie) OS while the later OS is Android 8.0 (Orea).
Clearly, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro comes out top in performance and it’s one of the best, considering the performance of mid-range devices out there.
The Xiaomi device has a dual rear camera. A 48MP, f/1.8, 1/2″, and a 12MP, f/2.2, 12.9″ cameras. Also, a single selfie camera of 13MP, f/2.2. Other features include dual-LED flash, HDR, panorama.
Just like the Xiaomi device, the Camon 11 Pro has a dual camera with really close pixels when compared to Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro. A 16MP, f/11.8 and a 5MP, f/2.4 cameras. Not the best out there but quite good for taking static pictures.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by a solid 4,000mAh battery capacity that offers up to 251 standby time with a fast charging technology.
Tecno Camon 11 Pro came close to matching up with the Note 7 Pro in terms of power with its 3750mAh battery. Redmi Note 7 Pro still has more power than Tecno Camon 11 Pro. We will give it to the 2 devices considering the battery capacity. Quite enough power to carry the expected load.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro goes for $147 while the Tecno Camon 11 Pro goes for $137.
