OPPO A1K is the latest budget smartphone that was launched in Russia. This latest Android smartphone is the perfect power-packed smartphone that those on a tight budget will find appealing, while still getting a long-lasting battery that promises up to 17 hours of active usage on a single charge.
OPPO A1K was unveiled same day Oppo A5s was introduced in India. Although this post is not about the A5s, but both Android smartphones are budget-friendly, packed with massive battery capacity. Probably we will review the Oppo A5s in our next review.
Talking about the OPPO A1K, the smartphone has a metallic texture on the back with a waterdrop-style notched display that houses the selfie shooter. The smartphone comes with a 6.1-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
As far as the camera is concerned, the Android superphone features a single rear 8MP on the back with an f/2.2 lens. The front hosts a 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens for good selfie shots. The cameras are quite decent for a budget smartphone.
The OPPO A1K is powered by MediaTek Helio P22(MT6762R) SoC and is rumored to be the first OPPO budget smartphone that is powered by Helio P22 chipset. To ensure you get good performance, the chip is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The storage can also be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
On the battery department, OPPO A1K sports an ample 4,000mAh battery the promises up to 17 hours of active usage when fully charged. The battery as we gathered does not come with fast charging technology.
