In the month of May, OnePlus will be releasing a new flagship Android smartphone for 2019 called OnePlus 7. The upcoming smartphone will be armed with some interesting specs, including a pop-up selfie camera to take on the likes of Oppo F11 Pro and Vivo V15 Pro.
Although the company has not released much information about the OnePlus 7, with the little we’ve seen and heard about the upcoming Android smartphone, we can still show you why the device will be the real deal- in terms of specs and rumored price.
OnePlus 7 Release Date and Rumored Price
For the record, OnePlus has the habit of releasing two phones yearly. It’s been the culture in the company and mostly announces these phones from May to June. The OnePlus 7 we believe will be released officially by the last week of May or June.
Rumors suggest that the upcoming Android smartphone will arrive in two versions: the standard version with 4G and the one with the 5G network. The launching price as rumored may start at $569-$599 or more based on the version you prefer.

OnePlus 7 Design and Display
According to reports gathered, the OnePlus 7 is measured 8.8 mm slim and weighs 185 grams. The phone comes in a beautiful design as we see in the leaked pictures with almost bezel-free screen and no notch seen on the smartphone-thanks to the pop-up selfie shooter. The upcoming device is also designed and armed to resist water.
As far as the display is concerned, OnePlus 7 comes with a 6.5-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
OnePlus 7 Performance and Storage
The OnePlus 7 Android smartphone will run Android 9.0 (Pie) with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip onboard. The device will also host a huge 8GB of RAM or more with 128GB internal storage. We are not sure if there will be a MicroSD card spot for storage expansion, but we can only wait and hope it will be included when fully unveiled.

OnePlus 7 is coming hot with a full super 4,150mAh battery that can keep your device powered-on for a longer time. Unfortunately, there will be no wireless charging technology on this device which is a major flaw for me- if the rumors are true. The phone will also feature fast charging technology.
As far as the camera is concerned, this upcoming device will be armed with a triple camera setup of 48MP + 20MP + 5MP on the rear. The phone will be counted among the latest Android smartphones( such as Xiaomi Mi 9, Redmi Note 7, Oppo F11 Pro etc) we’ve seen this year so far with a huge 48MP camera. On the front is going to be a 16MP pop-up selfie camera for amazing selfie shots.
