Surprisingly, iTel S15 comes with dewdrop notch which is the first from this brand with such a feature. Not only does this phone feature a notch, but it is also the first iTel phone with Google Gallery Go pre-installed. That’s quite interesting.

Display

The phone flaunts a big dewdrop notch 6.1-inch HD+ IPS LCD display, with a resolution 720 x 1520 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 that offers enough screen to enjoy your favorite movies and latest music videos. Design

For those that are familiar with iTel phones, you must have noticed that most of their phones are made with plastic material. ITel S15 is not an exception to this. The phone comes in a trendy plastic body build and measures 156.7 x 74.7 x 8.9 mm. The dual rear camera sensors are vertically arranged at the right-hand side; just like theiTel P33 camera setup, with an LCD flash just below the camera setup. Although, I was expecting an upgrade to an in-display fingerprint scanner, but what we have here is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, which is still cool considering the price range of the device.

Camera and Battery

In terms of camera, the iTel S15 comes with the dual rear camera setup, housing an 8MP main camera another 8MP with an LED flash. The front hosts a 16MP selfie shooter with LED flashlight for good quality selfie shots.

For power, the 3000mAh battery onboard is below what I really expected for such a device on that price range. Even the iTel P32 that was released sometime last year(2018) has a better battery capacity than this device. The battery is a non-removable Li-Po battery with no fast charge technology. But when fully charged, it could last for a day on average heavy usage.

Hardware and Software

iTel S15 is powered by a Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and a Unisoc SC7731E chipset. For graphics, the Mali 400 MP2 GPU handles that department. The phone boasts of 1GB of RAM and a 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

Software-wise, this latest Android smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie (Go Edition) out of the box. There is also a Google Galaxy Go app pre-installed to help in delivering the best selfie experience.
