In case you don’t know, Samsung has announced a new budget Android smartphone called Galaxy A31. The phone was unveiled yesterday (24th March) with massive battery capacity and a pretty big Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display.
Specs-wise, the latest Samsung Galaxy A31 sports a 6.40-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with an aspect ratio of 20:9.
The android smartphone is equipped with a quad rear camera setup containing a 48MP with an f/2.0 aperture; 8MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a 5MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a 5MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, Galaxy A31 features a single 20MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P65 processor that features 2 cores clocked at 2GHz and 6 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. The processor is paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The storage on both configurations can be further expanded up to 512GB via microSD card. For graphics, Samsung Galaxy A31 is armed with Mali-G52 GPU.
Moving on, Galaxy A31 runs Android 10 and drives its power juice from the 5000mAh battery onboard. It also supports 15W fast charging via USB Type-C. The android smartphone comes with a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.
For the connectivity options, Samsung Galaxy A31 has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, on-display fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, and supports face unlock.
Samsung Galaxy price in Nigeria is expected to be about NGN 75,000 for the 4GB/64GB variant, while the 6GB/128GB variant will be locking around NGN 100,000. Though none of the quoted prices above have been confirmed, but that is the expected range based on similar phones within the same configuration. As for the color options, the Samsung Galaxy A31 smartphone may come in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue, Prism Crush Red, Prism Crush White colors.
