While Redmi Note 8 has been making headlines for being the first Xiaomi phone with a 64MP camera, the company has launched Xiaomi Mi Note 10. An android smartphone with a camera size and battery that far supersedes that of its sub-brands Note 8. You will find in this review the full specifications of this device, and the expected price in Nigeria once it reaches here.
With the recently announced Vivo X30 still trending on social media for featuring 5G and a new chipset entirely, you can be sure that we are in for a new generation of smartphones with dope features. If you think this is just wordplay, check out the Mi Note 10 specs below that are already trending in Europe, India, and China.
Design And Display
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 features a 6.47-inch Super AMOLED display, with 1080 X 2340 pixels resolution and 398 PPI density. The device comes with an aluminum frame with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The in-display fingerprint comfortably sits at the lower part of the screen.
Mi Note 10 Camera And Battery
This is one area of this smartphone you really need to check out. The company here offered buyers so much more than they could be expecting.
Talking about the camera, Mi Note 10 comes with a stunning 108 MP primary camera at the rear. This is supported by four other cameras (12 MP, 20 MP, 5 MP, 2 MP) making it a total of five sensors at the rear to deliver excellent quality photographs. To help users capture their best memories even in the dark, the device comes with two LED Flashes at the rear.
As for the selfie camera, Mi Note 10 features a 32 MP sensor with dual LED Flashes supporting it also. Cameras of these sizes make you wonder about the kind of battery that will power them.
To prove to you that Xiaomi really means business with this device, Mi Note 10 comes with a 5260mAh Li-Po battery which more than what the Infinix Hot 8 is armed with. Not just that, the battery also features 30W Flash Charge technology to boost the charge time. According to Xiaomi, this battery can last up to 2 full days off heavy usage. And when it runs down, it takes just 65 minutes to charge it to 100%.
Software And Hardware
Speaking of the operating system, Mi Note 10 runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 9.0 Pie. Powering it is Qualcomm SDM730 Snapdragon 730G. This chipset is capable of delivering 15 % better gaming performance.
At the memory department, the device comes with a 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. There is no support for the expansion of this memory with a TF card. This is the only place I think Xiaomi could have done better. I don’t think 128 GB ROM is so much of a size not to include support for a memory card.
Other features available on this device include Infrared which you can use to control your TV, 4G LTE, WiFi, Hotspot, Bluetooth V5, and many others.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Price And Availability
Mi Note 10 price in Nigeria starts from N144,000. The device is expected to arrive in the country this November. Once that happens, you can buy it online on Jumia and also on Konga.
You can also get it at major smartphone outlets around the country. An example of a good place to buy it is Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos.
